Competition entries and lecture tickets serve different parts of the event. Start with what you want to do, then read the current ticket description carefully before making your choice.
The 2027 packages are now our starting point. Complete / full-event tickets include 9 drink tokens, 1 dinner and 1 lunch. A one-day lecture ticket includes 3 drinks and 1 lunch. Competition and lecture access depends on the ticket selected.
Current public prices are shown on this page: Open and Intermediate €549 excl. VAT, Novice €349 excl. VAT; Lecture Complete €549, Student Complete €349, 1 Day €279, Student 1 Day €179; Partner ticket €149 excl. VAT. The booking flow confirms availability and the final checkout amount.

Regular public-sale prices are shown with the full cost structure. The final column is the expected amount charged by the ticket service after Dutch VAT, the €1 service fee and the 1.8% booking fee.

A complete ticket includes 9 drink tokens, 1 dinner and 1 lunch, in addition to the access stated for that ticket type. Always check the 2027 booking description before payment, because competition, lecture and guest access can differ.
A day ticket includes 3 drinks and 1 lunch, together with the access stated for that ticket. The booking flow shows the exact 2027 package before payment.
We start with the base price excluding VAT, add 21% Dutch VAT, then add the €1.00 service fee, followed by the 1.8% booking fee. The ticket page shows the expected checkout total so you can see the full cost in advance.
The Legend Class is new for 2027 and was added by special request. It is open to competitors aged 55 and over. The regular price is the same as Open and Intermediate: €549 excl. VAT. The class requires a minimum of 10 confirmed competitors; with fewer than 10 entries, it will not be held.
The 2027 Partner ticket costs €149.00 excl. VAT / €180.29 incl. VAT / €184.55 expected checkout total. It is intended for an accompanying guest and is not a professional competition or lecture ticket. Check the booking description for the exact access and inclusions.
The event takes place in the Netherlands, so 21% Dutch VAT is charged on the tickets.

If you can no longer find the confirmation email or your tickets, contact the Werkman Spring Games team. We can look up your booking and resend the confirmation and tickets. Please include the name and e-mail address used for the order.
Yes. We are planning to use Van der Valk Groningen–Hoogkerk and Flonk Hotel Groningen Zuid as our preferred hotels. A special Spring Games hotel rate is planned; the booking code will follow as soon as confirmed. Planned hotel-to-event transport is also expected to operate only from these two hotels. Yes. The prices shown on this website exclude any additional fees that may be charged for certain payment methods or cards, including where applicable PayPal, Klarna or American Express. If an extra charge applies, it will be shown in the checkout before you complete payment.
Yes. During booking you may be offered optional ticket protection through XCover. Depending on the policy and approved claim, you can receive up to 100% of your ticket costs back if circumstances prevent you from using your tickets. This cancellation-insurance product is provided and managed by XCover. By selecting it, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that you have read and accepted the applicable terms and conditions.
Examples of covered situations may include: fast payouts after approval; illness or injury affecting you, a ticket holder or family member; involuntary redundancy and other covered events; extreme weather or unexpected public-transport delays. Coverage is subject to XCover’s policy terms, exclusions and claim approval.

Tickets & access
No. A competition ticket gives access to the competition programme stated on that ticket, but not to the lectures. A lecture ticket gives access to the lecture programme and does not include competition registration or participation. Lecture ticket holders are, however, welcome to watch the competition as spectators in the riding arena, for example during a break in the lecture programme. The lectures take place in the venue directly next to the riding arena. The competition and lecture programmes run at the same time, so it is not possible to follow both programmes in full.
