Welcome Evening · DJ
The first evening is about arriving. Meet friends you have not seen for a while, relax after travelling to Tolbert and settle into the Spring Games atmosphere. A DJ provides relaxed background music while everyone catches up and gets ready for the days ahead.
Think meeting place first, party later: a comfortable opening night built around conversation, drinks and reconnecting with the international farrier community.

BakeyTown
BakeyTown turns the audience into part of the show. The musicians invite guests to request songs, which means the set can move from easy listening and pop to disco, Nederpop, reggae and rock. Interaction and humour are central to the concept.
Groove Department is a nine-piece Dutch top-100 coverband built around energetic live shows and interaction. Their sound combines current hits and familiar classics with a distinctive funky edge and a powerful brass section.

The Great Borrelnootjes
Gertjan Piek and Hans Krüger bring vocals, guitar and double bass into the middle of the event. Their repertoire moves from pop and country to jazz and rock ’n’ roll, performed acoustically or lightly amplified as they roam the event grounds.
The atmosphere does not stop when the competition ends. Find your favourite foodtruck, grab something good to eat and drink, then get together for party nights with live bands.
EAT
Your foodstreet.
A wide choice of foodtrucks and plenty of food and drink. Take a break, pull up a seat and make a meal of it.
MEET
One more story.
Catch up with old friends and get to know new ones. The foodstreet is part of the experience, not just a pit stop.
CELEBRATE
Turn it up.
Live bands, party nights and a room full of your people. Share the good times long after the last hammer blow.
Thursday 15 April opens with a relaxed Welcome Evening and DJ. BakeyTown plays Friday 16 April from 20:00–00:00. Groove Department takes over Saturday 17 April from 20:00–00:00. The Great Borrelnootjes bring roaming live music to the event grounds during all three days.
Good company is part of the programme
Pull up a seat. Stay for another story.
A pleasant get-together with a rocking evening programme: that has long been part of the Spring Games story. After a day of competing, learning and exploring, the event gives everyone time to slow down and enjoy being together.
For 2027, the foodstreet and its foodtrucks are part of that experience. Meet your colleagues for something to eat, swap stories from the day and make plans for the evening. Old friends, new faces and the shared language of the craft make it easy to feel at home.
Thursday starts more relaxed: arrive, reconnect and enjoy the Welcome Evening with a DJ in the background. On Friday and Saturday, the live bands take over and bring another kind of energy to the Games. The band line-up and times will follow with the programme.

Food, drinks & your ticket.
Meal and drink inclusions depend on the ticket you choose. Check the description in Weeztix for the current package details. If you have dietary requirements or questions about bringing your partner, please contact the team before booking.
Food, drinks and live music have long been part of the Werkman Spring Games. Previous editions deliberately combined serious professional content with time to sit down, share stories and celebrate the craft together. That atmosphere stays central in 2027.
EAT
Foodstreet.
A relaxed place to refuel between the competition, lectures and tradeshow.
MEET
Stay a little longer.
The best conversations often happen when the formal programme is finished for the day.

Live evenings.
Music and good company turn three professional event days into a shared experience.
Food and drink inclusions depend on the ticket type. The 2027 foodtruck selection, live bands and evening timetable will be announced here.
