Ideas that go
back to the workshop.
Knowledge sharing and practical application have always belonged together at the Werkman Spring Games. Our conference brings recognised hoofcare professionals and farriers into the same room to exchange research, experience and different ways of looking at the hoof.
Earlier programmes explored hoof balance, shoe placement, rehabilitation, sport-horse shoeing and glue applications. The value is in connecting these subjects with your own work: listening closely, asking questions and continuing the conversation with colleagues afterwards.
The 2027 programme will be presented with speaker biographies, lecture subjects and a clear timetable. Lecture language, translation arrangements and any accreditation will be confirmed alongside that programme.

What’s included
More than a ticket.
Your event experience is included.
Exact inclusions depend on the ticket type selected. The booking flow always shows the current 2027 package details before payment.
International business visitors: Dutch VAT is charged because the event takes place in the Netherlands. Foreign businesses may be eligible to reclaim Dutch VAT under the applicable VAT-refund rules. EU businesses normally submit the refund request through the tax authority in their country of establishment. Eligibility depends on your business and tax situation; please check with your own tax authority or adviser.
A tradition of knowledge sharing
Research. Experience.
Ideas you can use.
From biomechanics and radiography to trimming, rehabilitation, sport-horse shoeing and modern materials, earlier Spring Games programmes brought scientific insight and practical farriery into the same room. That combination remains the starting point for 2027.
Understand the why.
Research and clinical perspectives help connect hoofcare decisions to anatomy, movement and soundness.
Take it back to the horse.
Case-based talks and experienced farriers translate concepts into decisions that matter at the anvil and under the horse.
Ask the question.
The Spring Games has always been about exchange. Talks are only the start; the conversations between sessions are part of the programme too.
The 2027 speaker line-up, lecture topics and language/translation arrangements will be announced here when confirmed.
